If there is a question mark beside a number it indicates the status is a game time decision. We take these figures and use them during the game. The numbers are presented as lines and defence pairings.

---

Nice job on the national anthem by Lynda Burtch and we're ready to go.

---

Prospects getting a nice hand...couple of North Bay natives...Lyle being the top one. The Battalion chose defenceman Brady Lyle of the Shattuck-St. Mary’s under-16s with the first of 15 picks.

The Battalion chose eight forwards, comprising two centres, three left wingers and three right wingers, five defencemen and two goaltenders in the 15-round Internet process. All but one of the players were born in 1999.

---

Here come the Troops skating onto the ice, cue the thunderous applause. Hard to tell if it's a sellout but it looks like it. Go Troops go rings out from the crowd as the prospects are lined up to be introduced. Lyle, the first pick is not here, but eight others are.

---

Before every game, the team provides media, scouts and game officials with a meal. Tonight it was fish and chips with salad. Here's the view from that room out onto the ice surface. Before the game we grab a couple of bottles of water and a coffee as it gets pretty dry up in the press booth.
