Son attacks mom By Baytoday.ca BayToday.ca Tuesday, March 22, 2005 The North Bay Police Service has arrested a 16-year-old North Bay boy after he allegedly attacked his mother.
Police said the incident occurred Monday afternoon when the boy got into an argument with his mother, began smashing items around the house and then threw a screwdriver at her. his mother.
The woman did not suffer any serious injuries, and Cst. Dave Wilson and Cst. Jeff Warner of the North Bay Police Service were called to the home.
They arrested the teen, and he is charged with assault with a weapon, breach of probation and mischief under $5,000. He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
