Melinda Fry, the City's Manager of Sports and Events has a schedule set up.

According to a news release, residents who are without water can shower at Pete Palangio Arena on Wallace Road or at West Ferris Arena on Gertrude Street or Memorial Gardens on Chippewa Street.

Shower and Washroom Facilities are available at the following times and locations as listed below.  Residents must bring their own towels and toiletry items.

Times and Location:

8 a.m. to 10 p.m. dressing room 11 and 12 at Pete Palangio
8 a.m. to 10 p.m. dressing room 5 at West Ferris
8 a.m. to 10 p.m. dressing room 1 at Memorial Gardens
(showers will not be available during ticketed events)

At Pete Palangio Arena please check in at the administration office.  Staff will direct residents to the dressing rooms.

At West Ferris Arena please see the shift man or rink attendant and staff will direct residents to the dressing room.

At Memorial Gardens please check the white board or TV monitors or see the shift man on duty.  Staff will direct residents to the dressing room.

Water Fill Stations have been set up at Fire Station 1 (Princess Street) 2 (McKeown Avenue) and 3 (Marshall Avenue).  Residents will need to supply their own jugs and/or bottles.

The City is encouraging citizens to be neighbourly by offering to their neighbours assistance where possible. 

In addition, if you are able to provide access to your home’s water distribution system to assist neighbouring properties, please contact Public Works Dispatch at 705-474-4340

Meanwhile, Derek Callahan, Manager - Health Fitness and Aquatics at the YMCA says in a post to BayToday that, "The ymca is certainly welcoming those requiring a warm shower and water if necessary , staff have been directed to allow residents of the city of north bay access to our shower facilities if required."
