BayToday.ca has learned Shoeless Joe’s Sports Grill will be opening in North Bay at McKeown Commons in October of 2015.
Shoeless Joe’s, which was established in Toronto in 1985, opened its first Northern Ontario restaurant in Sudbury in the fall of 2014.
“Sudbury has done very well,” stated Sally Rampersad, Manager of Business Development for Shoeless Joe’s Limited.
“North Bay fits our demographics and we like what the area offers,” she added noting they like that their location is near Canadore College and Nipissing University.
The Shoeless Joe’s Sports Grill restaurant’s are described as a place that celebrates sports with family and friends.
The building, which is still under construction is located next to the new St. Louis Ribs and Wings restaurant on McKeown avenue.
The news dismisses the rumours that the Shoeless Joe’s new building was going to be a Chapters.
