North Bay OPP (Powassan detachment) are investigating a break, enter and theft of two horses from a property on Hwy 522 in Nipissing Twp.
The theft occurred sometime during the early morning hours of 11 Dec 2014.
The horses are described as follows: female 20 year old Palomino Quarter horse (tan and white) and a female 10 year old Paint horse (black and white).
The barn on the property is approximately 150 yards from the main house and can be accessed off of Rye Road.
Police are requesting anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity or any horse trailers mobile in the area during that time frame to please contact Crime Stoppers if you wish to remain anonymous.
