The pair of Chippewa Senior Secondary Students have made it past the elimination round of the 2014 Grizzly Cup reality TV show.

The Disney XD program, which debuted with Episode 1 on Tuesday, November 4th, is described as a combination of the Amazing Race and Survivor; full of outdoor challenges.

Tuesday night is Episode 4 and the final Episode where the winner will be crowned.

The two grade 8 students at Chippewa Senior Secondary were among 2000 teenagers from across Canada that competed in Grizzly Cup regional competitions this past summer.   Lindsay and Petrie were discovered at the regional competition that took place on June 14th in downtown North Bay where more than 70 local kids tried to qualify.

The North Bay teens are Team Green, and dance out of the Barbara Treleavan School of Dancing.  The local duo is pitted against 3 other teams (Winnipeg, Kelowna and Toronto) vying for the Grizzly Cup title.

The program was filmed in the Muskoka region in September.

Episode 2 saw Team Blue from Toronto eliminated in the 4-team Grizzly Cup challenge and Team Green sitting in first place.

Episode 4 will air on Disney XD on Tuesday night (Nov. 25th) at 7:00 p.m. which is Cogeco Channel 99 and Bell 562 on satellite.

A 5th "Best Of" Episode will air next Tuesday.

The family is getting together with friends to watch the final episode at Moose Cookhouse in downtown North Bay.
