A North Bay man has been charged with uttering threats and attempted murder.
Police say at approximately 8:30 last night, they were called to a North Bay home following a 911 call.
A domestic violence incident was in progress with a man physically attacking a woman.
North Bay Police arrested and charged a 58-year old Caucasian man with one count of uttering threats to cause death, and one count of attempted murder.
He was held in custody overnight awaiting a bail hearing today.
Police say in the interest of protecting the identity of the victim, they will not be releasing the name of the accused, nor the area of the city where the attack took place.
They do however, thank the couple’s neighbour for assisting in the investigation.
