Environment Canada is predicting the North Bay-West Nipissing area will receive 2 to 4 centimeters overnight just in time for Halloween.
The bad news is temperatures will plummet with a high on Halloween day of minus 1. Along with that winds are forecasted to be gusting from the northeast at 30 to 50 km/h.
On Friday, the region is expected to receive 5 to 10 centimeters of snow as well which all sets up for a very chilly, cold and uncomfortable night for Trick or Treaters and their parents.
"Precipitation is expected to begin as rain -- wet snow mix over Greater Sudbury early Thursday evening, then quickly change to all snow as it heads to the North Bay area," said Environment Canada in a statement.
