Lock your Car Doors!

North Bay Police received three separate reports from vehicle owners.

North Bay Police received three separate reports from vehicle owners. An unknown person or persons entered unlocked vehicles parked on Queensway Road and on Kingsway Avenue overnight on Tuesday October 28th and it is believed the only items taken were a red/grey backpack, two epinephrine auto-injectors and loose change. There was no damage done to any of the vehicles.

Police have informed the owner of the two epinephrine auto-injectors that one of them was later found in one of the other vehicles.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact police at 705-497-5555. For those who prefer to remain anonymous, contact Near North Crime Stoppers, by telephone at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by texting the word "Nipper" plus tip information to CRIMES (274637), or online at nearnorthcrimestoppers.com.

Police remind vehicle owners that thieves often target unlocked vehicles because of their ease of access. Most thefts from vehicles happen to victims who haven't taken the time to properly secure their property or hide their belongings.

Police add if you see someone walking from one vehicle to the next checking door handles in your neighbourhood or in parking lots, call 911 to report the location, the description of the individual and the activity you have witnessed.
