Deadline for Santa parade

Last year's Santa Claus parade attracted 50 floats, and organizers are hoping for a repeat performance this year. The Parade takes place at noon on Sunday November 23rd. The theme is “Christmas Carols”.

“The City of North Bay Parade committee are extremely excited about this year’s parade.  We are expecting a great turn out and believe “Christmas Carols” is a fun theme that should bring out the Christmas cheer in everyone,” committee member Kathleen Cutsey told BayToday.
 

The deadline for applications is Monday, November 17th.

If you wish to participate in this year’s parade, complete the registration form and return it to the Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services Department 2nd Floor City Hall or Fax 705-474-9782.

Applications are available at www.cityofnorthbay.ca or in the Parks, Recreation and Leisure Services Department 2nd Floor City Hall.

The route this year is Chippewa St., down Fisher St. then along Main.
