At 10:24 p.m. on 24th October, four men wearing bandanas over their face carrying weapons entered an apartment in the 400 Block of King Street West where they confronted an occupant, stabbing him multiple times about the head and body.
The four suspects then fled from the home.
The victim was taken to the North Bay Regional Health Centre and received numerous stitches to repair the injuries.
One person has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, break, enter and committing an indictable offence, and breach of probation.
He was held for bail. Police have not released any names.
The investigation is ongoing.
