Six awards were presented last night by the local Chamber of Comerce to local businesses as part of its Small Business Week.
Over 150 people attended the “Bell Evening of Excellence Awards” at the Clarion Resort Pinewood Park.
This event is one of the larger events put on by the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce and the sponsors of the Annual Small Business Week.
The categories and award winners this year are as follows:

BELL BUSINESS OF THE YEAR 16+ - Hampton Inn by Hilton North Bay
This is a national week dedicated to promoting, celebrating and the development of small business in Canada.
There are more events this week, Wednesday’s Learning about Fraud sponsored by RBC Royal Bank, afternoon session Classifying Goods for entry into the U.S. sponsored by Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, and on Thursday Ask the Expert seminar sponsored by The Business Centre Nipissing Parry Sound, and the Mini-Trade Show Business After Hours sponsored by Canadore College Main Campus.
