Shoppers lined up this morning to be the first into the new Winners store on McKeown Ave.
Janice Osborne, assistant manager told BayToday that one person started the queue at 3:45 a.m. to be first.
The store was giving out gift cards, valued up to $100, for the first 100 people.
"There were well over 100 people when we opened our doors at nine," said Osborne.
She says the new store is quite a bit bigger than the old one in the North Bay Mall and expects the location to be a key driver of customer traffic.
"We're definitely very happy", she said of their opening day.
