Police make arrest in coffee shop break-in.

A 38-year old Toronto man faces charges this morning following a break-in at the Twiggs downtown coffee shop.

At approximately 4:50 a.m., a witness told North Bay Police that a man broke a window and entered the coffee shop on Fraser Street.

The suspect then fled the scene on a bicycle.

Shortly thereafter, North Bay Police located a man on Worthington Street West and arrested him for break and enter.

He was then searched and found to be in possession of cash, the amount of which police are not revealing.

As a result of the investigation, North Bay Police arrested and charged Richard Layton with break and enter and commit , and also executed a federal parole warrant for his arrest.

He is being held in custody awaiting a bail hearing this morning.
