North Bay man charged for trafficking Fentanyl patches

A North Bay man is accused of drug trafficking following an investigation by the North Bay Police street crime unit last week. At approximately 7:26 p.m.

A North Bay man is accused of drug trafficking following an investigation by the North Bay Police street crime unit last week.

At approximately 7:26 p.m. on Thursday September 11th, police stopped a vehicle in the area of the bypass and Seymour Street and arrested the driver, a man known to police, for trafficking Fentanyl patches.

Following the arrest, police conducted a search of the vehicle and found and seized 59 Fentanyl patches with a street value of $23,200, and 30 grams of marijuana valued at $450.

As a result of the investigation, David Santos, age 35, of North Bay, was charged for trafficking Fentanyl patches, possessing marijuana, and breaching a conditional sentence order.
