On Sunday afternoon, someone called police to report that a fishing boat had been stolen from its cradle on Pinecreek Crescent in Callander sometime between 3 p.m. on Friday September 12th and 1 p.m. on Sunday September 14th.
The boat is described as a black and cream 2009 19-foot Crestliner Raptor with two motors: a black 2009 Mercury Verado 175 hp and a black 2009 Mercury Kicker 9.9 hp.
Meanwhile, over the weekend, North Bay Police responded to 220 calls for service that resulted in 16 arrests. Offences included public intoxication; theft under $5,000; utter threats; assault with a weapon; mischief under $5000; assault; warrants and breaches.
