The new PetSmart store located at the new Mckeown Commons Mall on McKeown avenue, officially opened its doors on Saturday.
During the opening on Saturday, the new pet store handed over a donation of $2,500 to go towards the North Bay and District Humane Society.
In early August, ground was broken for McKeown Commons, a new 134,000 square foot commercial development which, according to the property management firm, will be the home to Michael’s, Sportchek, Winners, A & W, St. Louis Wings and Ribs, PetSmart, Dollar Tree and Sally Beauty Supply.
The date for the official grand opening of the mall has yet to be announced.
