Food Recall Warning - McCain brand Onion Rings may be unsafe due to glass

OTTAWA - McCain Foods (Canada) is voluntarily recalling McCain brand Onion Rings from the marketplace due to possible glass contamination.

Consumers should not consume the recalled product described below.

Recalled products

McCain Onion Rings - 397 g - Lot code beginning with V40728 and a best before date of October 28, 2015 - 0 55773 00089 4

Also included in this recall are all packages where the lot code and best before date are not visible.

What you should do

Check to see if you have recalled products in your home.

Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
