Last chance for community survey

A community survey by the North Bay Civic League draws to a close tomorrow tomorrow, with a $75 Canadian Tire gift certificate up for grabs.

A community survey by the North Bay Civic League draws to a close tomorrow tomorrow, with a $75 Canadian Tire gift certificate up for grabs.

The Community Values Survey results will be made public shortly after the close of nominations for City Council on September 12th.

A news release from the group says this gives the candidates in the upcoming municipal election an opportunity to respond to the survey results, explaining how their vision fits in with that of the citizenry.

“Using the survey results, we will track councillors’ votes on issues, comparing them to the shared values of the people of North Bay,” said Peggy Walsh Craig, North Bay Civic League (NBCL) Steering Committee member. “Obviously, the more people that fill out the survey, the better the result will be.  This is why we provided a small incentive for completing the survey, like the option to enter your name in the draws.”

The survey is on-going to September 17 when another draw will be held for a $75 gift card for Creative Learning. Various organizations have helped distribute the survey including the North Bay Chamber of Commerce, Living Fit Group, the North Bay Labour Council, North Bay Multicultural Centre, and Nipissing Environmental Watch,  among others.

Everyone can do the survey on the website:  www.northbaycivicleague.org
