Many events are planned including attending hockey games, theatre, choirs, films, cottages, visits to the Haliburton Friendship Force and last week, and an exchange visit from Toulouse, France.

Friendship Force of North Bay is part of Friendship Force International, a global network and cultural exchange program of citizen ambassadors who travel the world in the name of friendship and goodwill.

Some of the highlights will be a tour and talk on the history of the French fur traders and lumberjacks, native drummers, tour of One Kids’ Place, waterfront walk, train and carousels, and an artisan tour.

There are 18 ambassadors in total, including two from Switzerland, one from Russia and two from Kingston, Ontario who are interested in starting a Friendship Force Club there.
