A transport truck drive faces a careless driving charge after a four vehicle accident yesterday afternoon on highway 17 West near Duchesney Falls in North Bay.
At approximately 1 47 OPP were called to a multi-vehicle collision.
A van was eastbound on highway 17 when it stopped on the highway to turn left into the parking lot of Duchesney Falls.
An eastbound car and a pick-up truck were stopping behind the van when an eastbound transport collided with the pick-up, car and van.
Three people were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the transport, Michel FELIX, age 54 from, St. Clet, Quebec, was charged with careless driving.
The North Bay Fire Department also responded to the collision.
