This morning at around 10:30, a man, unknown to the homeowner, used a nearby ladder to climb up to the second story window of the victim’s McLean Road home.
The victim heard a loud noise as the stranger was climbing, and confronted him immediately.
The man reacted by climbing down, fleeing through the bush to a parked minivan and driving away.
North Bay Police are looking to identify the man described as 40 to 50 years of age with a slim build and reddish blonde hair and a scruffy face.
He wore glasses and a blue and grey plaid coat, dark shorts and tan work boots.
He drove away in a navy blue minivan with the words “Cash 4” (and other words unknown) written in green lettering on the side.
