Anyone having the control of horses, cattle, swine, sheep or goats, and if they allow those animals to run at large within the limits of the King’s Highway are guilty of an offence under this Act.

As well they can be held civilly liable for damages that occur from their animals being off their property.

OPP are asking you make sure your property and boundaries are secure for your livestock.

They should be enclosed, or in direct or continuous charge by a person.

This assures their safety, and the safety of motorists.
