Callander Mayor Hec Lavigne says his town's dock is just one or two weeks away from opening to the public.
The dock suffered damage in a wind storm in 2009, then shifting ice in the bay in 2011 forced the municipality to close the facility.
Renovations will cost almost two million dollars.
