Summer in the Park officially kicks off today, and the weather is calling for mostly sunny skies and a high of 21.

Classified – 7:00 pm

Rage in a Cage Dodge Ball starts as part of DOWNTOWN NORTH BAY HERITAGE DAYS.
First game starts right after the opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. on the 100 E Block of Main St.
A reminder that the 100 east block and 200 east block of Main Street will be blocked to any vehicle traffic (including bikes and e-bikes).
The North Bay Municipal Heritage Committee will be hosting a Heritage Scavenger Hunt for children aged 12 and under at the festival.
The Scavenger Hunt will begin on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and will continue Sunday until 3:00 p.m. No wristband needed.
At the time, there will be a draw for two grand prize winners. The first draw winner will receive a family trip of four on the Chief Commanda. The second draw winner will receive a new bicycle.
The first 100 participants to successfully complete the Hunt will receive two free tickets to ride the Heritage Railway Company Mini-train and/or the Heritage Carousel.
