A crew of 18 employees from the North Bay office of BDO worked with the Heritage Gardeners to weed, prune and apply mulch to one of the Underpass gardens at the waterfront says a news release from the group.

BDO is committed to supporting local communities. Their team proudly volunteers it’s time to help worthwhile organizations ― whether they do so as one firm, one office, or on an individual basis. Each year, they strive to make a positive difference coast to coast through a variety of charitable causes.

The North Bay Heritage Gardeners would like to thank the team of BDO for a job well done. We are grateful that they chose to volunteer their time to help our gardening teams at the waterfront .

The North Bay Heritage Gardeners have been working with the City of North Bay to maintain the Heritage Gardens at the waterfront for 17 years.

We are a group dedicated to developing a year-round community based educational, horticultural and environmental program. We focus on fostering pride and growth through enhancing and beautifying the North Bay Waterfront and other approved areas.

Heritage Gardeners has a guest gardener program where individuals or groups who do not wish to commit to a regular gardening team can help with a special project or a weeding, planting or mulching blitz in any of our 50 garden beds at the waterfront.
