Here's some good news.
Yesterday the Anishinabek Police Service - Nipissing detachment, got a call about a missing eight-year-old boy.
The child had gone missing from a camp located on the shores of Lake Nipissing.
An extensive search followed, and the youngster was later found just west of that area.
The Anishinabek Police, the North Bay OPP, OPP ERT, OPP Canine and OPP Helicopter, as well as the West Nipissing Police and the West Nipissing Search & Rescue Team helped in the search.
The boy was returned to his mother in health and in good spirits.
