Another big financial hit to Memorial Gardens.
This time it's the arena's sound system and the bill is expected to around the $200,000.
Renovations to the rink are already $4.2 miilion over the original projected $12 million.
Now the city's goal is to have a better sound systm by September when the hockey season gets underway. Announcements during the Battalion playoff run were especially hard to hear on the rink's west side.
City spokesman Alan Korell says they'll apply a 'band aid" to the old system to get through the summer season.
Korell says the project will go out to tender and the exact cost won't be known until the bids come back in.
