OPP seeking public's help with Trout Creek General Store robbery

The Powassan Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating an armed robbery which occurred on May 7, 2014 at approximately 7:30 pm., at the Trout Creek General Store on Main Street, Trout Creek.

A lone male entered the store armed with a knife and confronted the store employees and a customer. 

A quantity of cash was stolen and then suspect fled the store on foot. 

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Members of the Emergency Response Team and the canine unit attended the location, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as being:

·           White male

·           Approximately 6’ tall

·           Slim-medium build

·           Wearing a dark hoodie

The investigation is continuing.
