That last Gens goal 14:59 Scott Laughton from Cassels on PP. Both teams 1/4 tonight. Refs out....2:00 away from start of 3rd.

Erie 4-2 over Guelph in the 2nd. Troops have the best penalty kill in the playoffs, allowing 6 on 65 chances...90.8%

Troops kill...period over. 3-2 Troops....shots 22=15....setting up for a wild and wooly third period. Should be fun. Very impressed by Dal Colle. no wonder he's so highly rated...always dangerous.

2nd period underway...Paul line looking very strong again tonight., Laughton looks frustrated....fires one length of ice...icing. MacLeod fires a hard slapper....almost makes it through goalie pads....scrum but no goal. Slashing penalty to Gens Wallace at 2:08. PP Troops,

Man it's loud...btw the crowd was really singing along with Oh Canada tonight...very spirited and rewazrded by the boys with a pair Game 4 tomorrow..

Refs out....players ready to hit the ice for period 2.

Pretty even period with hard but mostly clean hits. both teams had chances, especially Gens during the 2 man advantage but Troops explode in the final 90 seconds. First it wasa the Generals Mike Dal Colle on a breakaway at 12:05 unassisted. Then at 18:27 on the PP Mike Amadio from Vincent Praplan, then :28 later at 18:55 Barclay Goodrow from Nick Paul and Ben thomson. Crowd loving it.

Nice  applause for Troops as they leave the ice....2-1 NB...shots on goal 9 apiece. Sarge tossing T shirts to the crowd...better keep my head up.

Goal reviewed.....good goal.....Goodrow I think. Troops score aagin....looks like McLeod....crowd keeeps standing so it's very hard to see. 2-1 Trtoops....period over.

hmmmm.....Bob McIntyre now has a loudspeaker to get the crowd cheering. Penalty to Gens Smith on Henriksson for high sticking. 1:53 left.

nice pass from Smith to Thomson but he waits too long to shoot and is poke checked.

PP Troops, Lepkoweski off for boarding.

Gens lead for first time in this series. A couple of mishandled pucks led to breakaway....Colle unassisted at 12:05.

Gens score breakaway by Dal Colle....over Smith stick side. 1-0 Gens.

8:36 left...still 0-0 thanks to Smith...sog 5-4 for Osh.

Troops kill both penalties...standing ovation from ths capacity crowd.What action...Smith superb.

Dal Colle has empty net but shhots wide....first penalty killed.

Troops 2 men down for 1:39....great save by Smith from 3 feet out....blast off the post.

Thomson misses yawning cage....penalty to MacLeod.....another coming. Troops 2 men short. Thomsen gets the gate.

Gens Smith a big hit on Kyle wood but he looks ok.....clean play so far.

Troops buzzing all around but can't bury it. First shot by Gens smothered by Smith.

Troops off to a strong start...Praplan misses point-blank on Altshuller. Surprisingly fwide=open.

Gens will want to quiet this crowd early. Game on.

Huge cheer for Barclay Goodrow....OHL player of the week. JP Fournier doing a great job of the anthem.

good news for NB fans...Alex Henriksson has recovered from his hamstring injury...however Zach Bratina still suffering concussion symptoms. Player intros and fans are cheering wildly...especially for goalie Jake Smith.

Players in staging area, refs are out...ready for the anthem. Starting lineup for the Troops. Jake Smith in goal, Up front Connor Jarvis - jamie Lewis - Matt Santos. Wow its deafening in here.
