ROPE Squad seek public’s help in locating a Federal Offender Update

TORONTO – The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad would like to advise the public that a Federal Offender who has been unlawfully at large since April 11th 2014 has been apprehended in the Town of Simcoe.

Derrick ADAMS was located and arrested without incident by the Provincial ROPE Squad last week. 

The offender was serving a 3 year 1 month and 14 day sentence for Assault, Assault with Weapon, Theft, Flight from Police, Impaired Driving and Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle when he breached his parole and his whereabouts became unknown. 

The Provincial ROPE Squad would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this investigation.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a Federal Offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of his breach of Parole. 

This offender is serving a 3 year, 1 month and 14 days sentence for Assault with Weapon, Assault, Theft, Flight from Police, Impaired Driving and Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle.

Derrick Adams is described as a 33 year old male, 5’ 10” (178 cm’s), 182 bs,  (82kgs), brown eyes and has brown hair but keeps it very short or completely shaved.  The offender also has a tattoo of a skull which is located on the right side of his neck.

The offender is known to frequent the Hamilton, Brantford and Simcoe area.
