As of 10:04 PM EDT Wednesday EDT Wednesday, Environment Canada issued a Freezing rain warning for North Bay - Powassan - Mattawa and West Nipissing - French River:

Freezing rain tonight.

A low pressure system is tracking just south of the area and is producing a mix of freezing rain, ice pellets, and snow.

The low will track east of the area overnight and the precipitation will change back to snow.

Travellers should use caution as untreated roads may become slippery from freezing rain and snow.
