City police release domestic violence stats for the month of February

News Release


In February 2014 the North Bay Police responded to 96 domestic related incidents that resulted in 17 Males and 4 females being charged with a total of 52 criminal offences.

The 17 males were charged with a total of 45 offences that included:
Assault X11, Assault with a Weapon X2,  Breach of Recognizance X 1, Breach Of Undertaking X7, Breach of Probation X5, Utter Threats X3, Criminal Harassment X1, Mischief X8, Theft X3, Unlawfully in a Dwelling X1, Drugs X3.

Court -  12 males were held for bail, 5 males were released on PTA/Undertaking with a court date.

The 4 females were charged with a total of 7 offences that include: Assault X2, Assault with a Weapon X 1, Breach of Recognizance X3, Mischief X 1.

Court -  1 female was held for bail, 3 females were released on PTA/ Undertaking
with a court date.
