The Business Centre is offering the Summer Company Program once again this year on behalf of the Province of Ontario.

Eligible students will receive up to $3,000 in grants to help them start-up and operate their business over the course of the summer.

The deadline for application is May 23rd, however space is limited and fills up quickly each year.

For more information about the program, contact Kyle at 705-474-0626 ext. 2523 or kyle.thomas@cityofnorthbay.ca .

To be eligible for the program, students must be between the ages of 15-29, currently enrolled in school and returning to school in the fall.

Students will receive advice and mentorship from local business leaders, one-on-one assistance from The Business Centre staff as well as training in various areas of business.

This is a great opportunity for youth to start a business and create their own summer employment. Please visit www.ontario.ca/summercompany  to apply for the program.
