Friday, March 07, 2014   by: Kate Adams

The YMCA of North Bay proudly presents YMCA Mardi Gras, a fundraiser benefiting the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign!

Celebrate Mardi Gras on Friday, March 21st, 2014 from 7pm to midnight at the Davedi Club, 313 Airport Rd. feat. The Jake Thomas Band.

Tickets are $30 and are available at the YMCA, 186 Chippewa St. W.

Come Party with a Purpose!

Proceeds from all tickets sales support the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, ensuring that children and families in North Bay and area have access to YMCA programs and services regardless of financial circumstance. In 2013, the YMCA of North Bay provided more than $250,000 in support to more than 1,600 children and families in the community through YMCA memberships, camping and child care.

"At the YMCA, we believe that every kid deserves a chance," said YMCA of North Bay CEO Kim Kanmacher. "Every ticket sold for YMCA Mardi Gras raises funds to help ensure that children and families in North Bay are given the opportunity to participate in a YMCA experience."

Celebrate Mardi Gras in Style

YMCA Mardi Gras will bring a true Mardi Gras flavour to North Bay.

Snack on special Mardi Gras food provided by Cecil's Catering while celebrating to the music of The Jake Thomas Band. Celebrate in style!

Bring your beads. Bring your masks. Dress casually or dress in the official Mardi Gras colors of purple, green and gold!

Who Will Be the King of Mardi Gras?

Come to Mardi Gras and discover the identity of the YMCA Mardi Gras King! His identity is being kept a secret until Mardi Gras. (It's kind of a big deal.)
