Crime Stoppers crime of the week

Near North Crime Stoppers and Almaguin detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s assistance in solving a break, enter and theft that occurred at approximately 2:00 am on the 16th of September 2013 at the Kwick Way located at 170 Ontario St. in Burk’s Falls.

During this time period unknown culprits forcibly entered the store by tampering with the door locks. 

Once inside the culprits damaged the security system rendering it inoperable. 

The culprits also caused extensive damage throughout the store before making off with a large quantity of various brands of cigarettes and cash. 

More than $23,000 in cigarettes and cash were stolen.

Police believe that this case can be solved and are asking anyone who may have information to call Crime Stoppers.
