Toronto-The General Chairperson's Association (GCA) representing unionized employees at Ontario Northland is pleased to announce that following Premier Wynne's request to provide her government with a business plan as an alternative to divestment, ONTC Labour and Management have worked diligently over the past several weeks to prepare an all-encompassing transformational business plan covering all divisions including Ontera.

“This transformational plan meets the government’s objectives of sustainability, business stability, and job retention, while at the same time positioning the ONTC and Ontera to further promote social and economic development as new opportunities arise in the region, such as the Ring of Fire.” Said Kelly

“The transformational plan is being jointly presented by ONTC Management and Labour to the Minister's Advisory Committee today in Toronto.” Concluded Kelly
