“Taxpayers deserve to know whether the Liberals and NDP intend to raise their taxes,” said PC MPP Vic Fedeli, the Ontario PC Finance Critic.

Yesterday, Fedeli tabled a motion calling on the NDP and Liberals to promise they would not introduce or raise new gasoline, corporate or payroll taxes.

“With so many good jobs having left our province, families simply can’t afford another tax,” said Fedeli. “They shouldn’t be forced to dig into their wallets because of this government’s reckless spending and mismanagement.”

“We’re calling on the Liberals and NDP to come clean with families and job creators - people deserve to know if the Liberals and NDP have cut a deal to raise taxes in this spring’s budget,” said Fedeli."
