Wynne gives $600,000 to local business but vague with ONTC

Wednesday, February 05, 2014   by: Jamie Lyle

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne came to North Bay on Wednesday morning to present a local business with funds to help innovate their company.

Wynne announced that she was awarding Drillers Edge, a Canadian based manufacturer of core drilling tools, $600,000 to support mineral exploration in the North.

During a media scrum, talk quickly turned to the ONTC divestment and to the now defunct Ring of Fire project.

Wynne addressed all of these issues, including the environmental impacts that the Ring of Fire could produce, should exploration and mining activities in the area resume.

Story developing...

Thank you Premier Wynne for you visit to our riding. I continue to be impressed with your willingness to listen and your sincerity. As the NDP has no policies aat present and the Hudac Conservatives are promising to destroy unions and bring all worker wages down, I am most impressed with your plans, especially for pensions and seniors.

Premier McGuinty faced a multi-billion $ hole when he took over. Within 3 years we were in the black. Then the thieving 1 % on wall street threw the world into a recession that Harper denied was happening. The Liberals are on track to balance the budget while still building a better Ontario. Hudak has white papers. They are called that because the pages are blank on how the talking points are going to be made into reality. Have a little research into "Right to Work" the cornerstone of dim tims plan to lower wages, destroy pensions and benefits in order for him to take the same lifeboat Premier Harris took to the corporate boardrooms on Bay Street when the gig was up. He left Premier Eves as the scapegoat. Oh and Mr. Eves became Premier the same way Premier Wynne did. It doesn't mean he was an "unelected Premier". It is how our political system works.

Boy you guys can sure spin a story!
Balance the Budget ????????????
What a laugh Silly Sousa said right
in the House that a balanced Budget
was not a " PRIORITY " if it meant changing his plans.
Take the blinders off check your facts
remove the puppet string from around
your neck and welcome to the "REAL WORLD"
