Saturday from 9:30 am until 5 pm the Rotaract Club of North Bay-Nipissing is holding a “Lightly Use Literature Book Sale” at North Bay Mall, No Frills entrance.
Bring a grocery bag and fill it for $10. All of the proceeds will go to the North Bay Literacy Council Inc.
Also, the council will be hosting a free Family Literacy Skate at the Sam Jack Complex (West Ferris Arena) in partnership with the Early Years Centre from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m..
The Early Years will have a variety of fun activity stations set up in the upstairs auditorium and there will be free hot chocolate to the first 200 participants.
