Hwy 11 between Marten River and Temagami down to one lane Update

Temagami OPP advise motorists that as of 2:43pm Highway # 11 between Marten River and Temagami is fully open.

Temagami OPP advise motorists that Highway # 11 between Marten River and Temagami is down to one lane south of Lowell Lake Road due to a Jackniffed Tractor Trailer.

This is outrageous... why did the tractor jack knife? Road conditions no doubt? This is getting far too frequent... screams of requiring a thorough audit of the maintenance contractor... there are clauses allowing for dismissal of the contractor when the agreed contract has not been met... and MTO officials should also start doing their jobs and getting to the bottom of these incidents.

The driver was likely going too fast for the road conditions. Also we need an alternate route on this side of the Quebec border.
