OPP News Release

*****

The Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police are finished with the festive R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program.

This week from Dec 30, 2013 to January 2, 2014 officers checked 102 vehicles in the Almaguin Highlands area.

Again this week Police did not charge any drivers for being impaired and would like to thank motorists for following the laws.

The OPP would like to remind motorists that even though the festive R.I.D.E program is complete, officers will still be conducting R.I.D.E checks regularly.

PLEASE DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!
