Busy New Years Eve for city police

Between   6:00 p.m. Dec 31st and 6:00 a.m. Jan 01st the North Bay Police logged 39 calls for service.

The majority of the calls were related to liquor, noise, disturbances and domestic situations. 

Only four calls related to criminal activity.

The R.I.D.E. program was conducted in 5 different locations.

Two hundred and thirty-three vehicles were checked with no issues reported.
