News Release

Over the weekend the North Bay Police R.I.D.E. program checked 135 vehicles in 5 different locations.

One roadside screening device test was administered, one Highway Traffic Act warning was issued, and one charge processed under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

The R.I.D.E. program will be active over the holidays, in particular New Years Eve and New Years Day.

The North Bay Police wish to caution drivers that if they drink a substantial quantity of alcohol in the evening they can still be impaired the next morning.
