Update on Beattie St. stabbing incident

At 8:30 p.m. on the 29th Dec two males wearing bandanas over their face entered a Beattie St  residence where they stabbed two other male victims multiple times.

When the suspects left the residence they encountered 2 more males and they stabbed both of them as well.

The suspects then fled the area but were arrested by police a short distance away.

All four victims were taken to hospital by ambulance. 

Two young offenders have each been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, forcible entry, disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, and 4 counts of aggravated assault.

Both young persons have been held in custody for bail hearings.
