At 2:10 a.m. on 27th Dec an altercation at a north end bar resulted in a man assaulting two people and breaking a beer bottle to use as a weapon.
William Laporte, 24years of 2nd Ave was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and 2 counts of assault.
He has been held in custody for a bail hearing.
Csts Steve Carleton and Dan Weber are investigating.
