As of 6:08 PM EST Sunday, Environment Canada issued a Snowfall warning for North Bay - Powassan - Mattawa and West Nipissing - French River 

Significant snowfall expected to taper off this evening.

Significant snowfall expected today.

A winter storm originating from Texas is bringing snow across the Nickel Belt and Nipissing areas today.

Snow will be heavy at times.

Snowfall amounts close to 15 cm are expected by the time it begins to taper off this evening.

In addition, northeast winds of 30 km/h with gusts to 60 are expected, especially in open areas.

Visibilities will be reduced in blowing snow as a result.

Motorists should exercise caution and adjust travel plans accordingly.

Significant snowfall for Sunday.

A low pressure system is expected to intensify tonight and bring snow to the nickle belt and Nipissing areas.

Snowfall amounts on the order of 15 to 20 cm can be expected.

In addition winds in open areas are expected to be around 30 gusting to 60 km/h, thus there will be reduced visibilities in blowing snow.
