Huntsville man charged with theft of a motor vehicle

At 8:43 a.m. on the 14th Dec North Bay Police responded to a call of a yellow Jeep stuck in a swamp beside the railroad tracks north of Birches Rd.

A man was located sleeping inside the vehicle.

He was subsequently arrested when the investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen from Huntsville earlier in the morning.

Lloyd Tanner 37 years of Kitchen Rd, Huntsville has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime.

He is to appear in court on the 20th Jan 2014. Cst Christian Elia is investigating.
