Over 750 homes helped with the Ontario Power Authority and North Bay Hydro’s Home Assistance Program.

Working families, seniors, people receiving government assistance, single parents, retirees and students, have all benefitted from this program.

Having a third party opinion about where to start to conserve energy and save money may be the most beneficial aspect of this program.

The program also supplies energy efficient products like compact fluorescent light bulbs, block heater timers and power bars to qualifying customers.

“Thank you, I think what you are doing with the programs you are running are wonderful,” says Sandra Deehan.

“A Great help for those that really need it,” says Alva Chapman

“We are continually trying to make our homes better and more comfortable and programs like these help us and our tenants. It has been great help from Hydro,” says Gene McGlashing, Landlord Birchwood Village

“Pleasantly surprised at the service, after paying for many years, to help someone out in their retirement was great,”
says Retired Homeowner Arlene T.
