As of 12:33 AM EST Tuesday, Environment Canada issued the following Snow squall warning for North Bay, Powassan, Mattawa and West Nipissing - French River.

Snow squalls today and Wednesday.

Cold westerly winds over Lake Superior are generating flurries and local snow squalls. The strongest snow squalls are affecting regions from Batchawana Bay to south of Wawa. The snow squalls are expected to shift around which will spread snow amounts over a broad area. However 15 cm per 12 hours is possible under more stationary snow squalls.

Another snow squall is coming inland off Georgian Bay to just south of North Bay. Snow amounts will be locally 5 to 10 cm but local visibilities will be reduced in snow and blowing snow.
